As we move into 2024 and many of us decide to continue to evolve and change in some way, I’m reminded of a coaching joke: “How many coaches does it take to change a lightbulb? Just one, and the lightbulb needs to want to change.” It’s not that we resist change, we simply resist being changed. 

Based on thousands of hours of successful executive leadership coaching (eg. supporting leaders in being able to step back, see the bigger picture and their role in it, challenge their belief systems, encourage the adoption of new behaviours, and much more), I have often observed leaders go through a journey of change as outlined below … and fortunately, more often than not … ‘Seize The Opportunity’ … How well does this journey resonate with you too?
